dont bother.
Same as every other US ship- .2 deck/hull for crew protection purposes, and just enough bulge so that it doesnt slow you down.
US armor isnt that effective, and no matter how much deck you pile on youre still just going to be food for the BB5-6's, so youre best off going naked as that little bit of speed you save by going unarmored is your best bet for survival.
